Virtualized Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Planning and Design (MR-1CP-NPVICE)

This course covers in-depth details and considerations for planning, designing and migrating to Virtualized Data Centers (VDC) and Cloud environments. This course will enable data center technology professionals to design VDC and Cloud infrastructures maintaining the most robust and elastic compute, network, and storage environments. The course will be premised on an ?open? architecture focused on core components,
principles, and technologies constituting both VDC and Cloud deployments utilizing best-of-breed EMC examples. This training is designed to be at the forefront of the changing IT landscape as traditional physical data centers evolve and morph into virtual entities and cloud environments.

Who should attend this Class:
This course is intended for architects, designers and consultants who are involved in the planning and design of Virtual Data Center components, including applications,servers, storage, networks and services.

To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student should be
a technical professional with three or more years of design experience in storage,operating systems, networking, business continuity and disaster recovery.
Recommended prerequisites include: EMC Information Storage and Management (EMCISA), EMC Cloud Infrastructure and Services (EMCCIS), VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and/or Cisco Certified Design Architect (CCDA).
