Description: 

This Radware Alteon advanced training is for technical staff involved in the installation and maintenance of a Radware Alteon ADC switch, models 2208 to 10000. The course reviews standalone Load Balancing (LB) and redundant LB using VRRP protocol covered in the foundation course (#500-101) and continues with Bandwidth Management, Global Server Load Balancing, and Firewall Load Balancing. Setup of SSL offloading using this new version 27 feature is an important topic covered in this advanced 4-day course as well as software upgrades for ADC features, advanced debugging, and installation & configuration of Intelligent Traffic Management. All topics are explained in theory and implemented using hands-on lab exercises via remote access to a lab.

Please bring your laptop to complete the hands-on lab exercises. Students will use well-known applications such as PDF Reader, VNC, Telnet, SSH and possibly other Radware-proprietary apps. Therefore, it is also important to have administrative rights on your laptop.
 
Prerequisite: 

Successful completion of the foundation course (#500-101) or a minimum of one (1) year switch installation and maintenance experience. Course documentation is in English
