Configuring BIG-IP APM - Access Policy Manager (F5-TRG-BIG-EGW-APM)
Overview:
This course gives network administrators, network operators, and network engineers a functional understanding of BIG-IP Access Policy Manager as it is commonly deployed in both application delivery network and remote access settings. The course introduces students to BIG-IP Access Policy Manager, its configuration objects, how it is commonly deployed, and how typical administrative and operational activities are performed. The course includes lecture, hands-on labs, interactive demonstrations, and discussions.
Target audience: This course is intended for system and network administrators responsible for installation, setup, configuration, and administration of the BIG-IP Access Policy Manager. Besides that, this course prepares the student for the Level 304 exam, to become F5 Certified Technology Specialist APM (F5-CTS, APM).
Prerequisites: Students should be familiar with the F5 BIG-IP Product Suite and, in particular, how to setup and configure a BIG-IP LTM system, including virtual servers, pools, profiles, VLANs and self-IPs.
There are no required F5 prerequisites for this course, but completing one of the following before attending would be very helpful for students unfamiliar with BIG-IP:
