This course provides a technical introduction to VMware Cloud on AWS. It introduces the core architecture of the VMware Cloud on AWS software-defined data center (SDDC) service. This includes coverage of the foundational VMware compute, storage, network, security, and management components and how they interact with AWS services. The course presents use cases for the VMware Cloud on AWS service, discussing both VMware native and AWS integrated solutions. It provides you with a view into how the service is delivered, the steps required to deploy the service and integrate it with on-premises VMware environments, how customer accounts and billing are handled, and how to scale and optimize a VMware Cloud on AWS environment.
